Delivery Driver

‍Salary Range: $19-21 per hour (plus 401k)

Job Description

The Delivery Driver position includes completing routes that both pick up from farms and deliver local produce to customers in the metro Atlanta area via Retaaza vehicles. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure that our customers receive the freshest produce and goods. This position will be based out of our warehouse located on the westside of Atlanta. The Delivery driver will operate multiple types of vehicles including 26 foot box truck with lift gate, 16ft box truck with lift gate and Sprinter Vans. 

WEEKLY SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday

‍Responsibilities

• ​​Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport orders to and from customers mostly in metro Atlanta
• Provide excellent service to customers and assist with unloading, confirming delivery details, and address any concerns 
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations in vehicles and warehouse setting
• Follow established procedures for beginning and ending each route
• Coordinate with with warehouse partners to work collaboratively when needed
• Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse processes‍

‍Requirements

• Previous experience in a food distribution setting preferred
• Delivery Driver experience and comfortable operating 26ft box truck with lift gate and Cargo Vans
• Clean driving record, no major moving violation in the past 5 years
• Experience using computer/tablet and routing software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions (refrigerated environment)
