Business Development & Customer Success Coordinator

This is a hybrid position. Day-to-day work can be done remotely but there are meetings and events that require in-person attendance and coverage. Our Business Development & Customer Success Coordinator role is perfect for someone passionate about local food, building relationships, and delivering exceptional service to customers while driving the company’s growth. They will learn strategies and approaches from senior sales leaders but should also come with their own ideas, passion, and skills for success. This position is a key member of the team and will work cross-functionally to ensure Retaaza’s mission and impact are communicated effectively.

Part Time Opportunities

MARTA Market Operator

We are looking for team members to staff and operate our MARTA Farm Fresh Markets throughout the city at MARTA stations. We work with local farmers to create a pipeline of fresh, healthy food straight from the farm and into the hands of food-insecure individuals and families. Our warehouse is on the westside of Atlanta, and we operate numerous markets around the metro area, in addition to this new partnership. Market days occur during the week with most shifts being around six hours. Shifts follow a standard weekly schedule. Some weekend markets may occur on occasion but are the exception and not the rule. A typical market day would involve working as a team to stock the van with inventory, drive to the market site, set up the market on site, check out shoppers on our point of sale (POS) system, interact with shoppers, close down the market by driving inventory back to the warehouse, closing out the register and inventory, etc.

Market Operator

We are looking for folks to staff our Atlanta area markets. We work with local farmers to create a pipeline of fresh, healthy food straight from the farm and into the hands of food-insecure individuals and families.‍ Our warehouse is on the west side of Atlanta and we operate numerous markets around the metro area. Market days mostly occur during the week with most shifts being around six hours. Some weekend markets may occur on occasion but are the exception and not the rule. A typical market day would involve stocking the van with inventory, driving to the market site, setting up the market on site, checking out shoppers on our point of sale (POS) system, interacting with shoppers, closing down the market by driving it and inventory back to the warehouse, creating a list of remaining inventory, etc.

Market Associate

We are looking for folks to staff our Atlanta area markets. We work with local farmers to create a pipeline of fresh, healthy food straight from the farm and into the hands of food-insecure individuals and families.‍ Our warehouse is on the westside of Atlanta and we operate numerous markets around the metro area. Market days mostly occur during the week with most shifts being around six hours. Some weekend markets may occur on occasion but are the exception and not the rule. A typical market day would involve assisting with setup of the market on site, checking out shoppers on our point of sale (POS) system, interacting with shoppers, replenishing inventory so displays look full, and packing up the market at the end of the day, etc.

Grant Writer & Coordinator

This can be a hybrid or remote position. Retaaza is seeking a skilled and driven Grant Writer & Coordinator to join our mission-focused team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities from a variety of sources, crafting compelling grant proposals and RFPs, tracking and reporting on progress towards grant deliverables, and ensuring alignment with our vision of transforming local food systems by connecting farmers to communities. We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative professional who is passionate about making a tangible impact. This position is a key member of the team and will work cross-functionally to ensure Retaaza’s mission and impact are communicated effectively. They will play a key role in securing funding to support our initiatives and drive our mission forward.

Internship Opportunities

Data & Analytics Intern

This is a hybrid position. Day to day work can be done remotely but there will be events and meetings that require in-person attendance and coverage. Our HQ is in Atlanta at Atlanta Tech Village. The Data Analytics Intern will report to the Procurement & Logistics Coordinator and will be responsible for meaningful work that will help drive the company, and its goals, forward.

The Research Intern will be responsible for meaningful work that will help drive the company, and its goals, forward.

Supply Chain & Procurement Intern

This is a hybrid position. Day to day work can be done remotely but there will be events and meetings that require in-person attendance and coverage. This internship will report to the Procurement & Logistics Coordinator and will be responsible for meaningful work that will help drive the company, and its goals, forward.
