About Retaaza
Retaaza is a woman-owned B Corp and social enterprise that strives to make local food more accessible and affordable, directly supports our communities’ farmers, reconnects consumers to their food, and feeds families struggling with food insecurity. We are building robust relationships with local farmers, community organizations, local businesses, and individuals to create a nimble, streamlined approach that is making a measurable impact economically, socially, and environmentally across our communities.
Job Description
We’re seeking a full-time Market Operations Coordinator to coordinate and execute the day-to-day operations of our mobile and pop-up farmers markets, expanding access to fresh, affordable, local food in community-based settings.
This role provides hands-on coordination of hourly market staff, manages on-site logistics, and ensures consistent, reliable execution of weekly markets at partner sites such as nonprofits, schools, transit centers, and churches. The Market Operations Coordinator serves as the operational bridge between hourly staff and program leadership, with responsibility for scheduling, supplies management, equipment oversight, and field-based problem-solving.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy hands-on operational work, are organized and dependable, feel comfortable working independently, and are motivated by supporting local food access in practical, community-centered ways. We are a small, collaborative team that works cross functionally and this position may support other areas of the organization as needed. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to grow supervisory skills while playing a key role in day-to-day operations.
This position is primarily based out of our office space at our West Atlanta warehouse, which serves as the operational hub for our market programs. The warehouse is a collaborative space for food access operations and program preparation. While responsibilities include both warehouse-based and community-based work, this is not a traditional warehouse position. Some hybrid flexibility may be available depending on program needs.
