Most recently, Halima worked as a Retail Associate and Butcher at Spotted Trotter in Atlanta, where she combined precision, presentation, and personalized customer service to create meaningful food experiences. Her career also includes fabric painting in a Philadelphia design studio, leading natural dye and textile workshops, managing kiln operations in community ceramic studios, and teaching in progressive classrooms for young learners. As a freelance designer, her handmade knitwear was featured in Vogue (Spring 2021) and Man Repeller (Summer 2021).
