Laura Bowser

Laura brings a lifelong passion for plants, people, and problem-solving to her work at Retaaza. With roots in the Midwest, a Southern upbringing, and time on the West Coast, she has carried her love of nature and horticulture wherever she’s lived. Her journey has been shaped by diverse experiences and a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of people, food, and the natural world.

Before joining Retaaza, Laura built a multifaceted career in horticulture, content development, and operations. At Florabunda Nursery, she managed sales, logistics, and compliance during a period of rapid growth, while creating materials that improved internal processes and customer communication. As a Consultant, she developed educational content for the horticultural industry, blending her creative and technical writing skills. Later, at Cox Automotive, she expanded her expertise in digital knowledge management and process documentation. Most recently, with Dancing Goats Coffee Roastery, she oversaw wholesale production logistics and market operations.

Resilient, empathetic, and endlessly curious, Laura thrives on continuous learning and creative problem-solving. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, floral design, exploring new technologies—and occasionally unplugging from them to reconnect with nature.
