Meet Our Farm Partner: Dickey Farms

At Retaaza, we’re proud to work with incredible farmers across the state who are preserving agricultural traditions while embracing seasonality and sustainability. One of our farm partners is Dickey Farms, located in the heart of historic Musella, Georgia.
Founded in 1936 by Robert L. “Mr. Bob” Dickey, Dickey Farms is home to Georgia’s oldest continuously operating peach packinghouse. Built from lumber cut right from Mr. Dickey’s own land, their long white packinghouse has become a recognizable landmark and a beloved destination for generations of Georgians.
Today, the Dickey family continues to run the farm with care, tradition, and a deep commitment to their community. Open year-round, their farm market is packed with Georgia Grown produce, freshly baked goods, vintage sodas, homemade ice creams, and handpicked gifts. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, in the best way possible.
Dickey Farms expertly showcases the bounty of Georgia's harvest throughout the year, offering an array of seasonal experiences that are worth the trip.
‍Spring: U-Pick Strawberries
Grab a bucket (or just your appetite) for u-pick strawberries straight from the fields. Stock up on all the strawberry goodies - think jams, baked goods, and their made fresh daily strawberry ice cream from the farm market!
‍Summer: Peach Season
Peaches are the crown jewel of Dickey Farms. During the summer months, guests can watch as peaches come in from the orchard and roll through their open-air packinghouse, enjoy house-made peach ice cream, and learn more about the varieties of peaches Dickey Farms offers.
Fall: Pecans, Pumpkins & Gourds
As summer fades, Dickey Farms shifts gears to growing much loved Georgia pecans and offers other fall harvest favorites like pumpkins and gourds. Plan a visit or take advantage of their shipped gift boxes to celebrate the season!
With a calendar full of seasonal events, it’s always the right time to take a trip to Dickey Farms.
