We’re proud to share that we’ve officially rescued 1 MILLION POUNDS of locally-grown produce from becoming food waste!

What makes this number extra special (and different)?
Every pound rescued is a pound that Retaaza paid a local farmer a fair price for — always at our farmer-first prices — and saved from becoming food waste. No donations of produce expected from our growers — ever. Just actual cash in their pockets for their hard work.
That means more Georgia grown food on tables and not in landfills, more financial support for our hard working farmers in communities all over the state, and the equivalent of over 1 million pounds of greenhouse gas emissions avoided to protect our planet.
After four years of serving clients and supporting farmers, we’re humbled to celebrate this milestone and see our mission in action: farmer-first prices, no wasted crops, a healthier planet, and accessible, affordable, fresh food for all Georgians.
