Peach Trees on Peachtree... It Just Makes Sense!

Summer 2026… the summer peaches took over Peachtree Street!

Hosted to celebrate Atlanta’s signature tree on its signature street ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, PeachTrees on Peachtree transformed downtown ATL into a vibrant gathering space featuring curated peach tree micro-groves from beloved Georgia grower Pearson Farm, local vendors, community organizations, and interactive experiences centered around agriculture, sustainability, and food access – including your very own Retaaza!

Over three activation days, we hosted the Retaaza Farm Stand Market, where guests had the opportunity to shop fresh, Georgia-grown produce and we got to connect with attendees from near and far.

One moment we won’t soon forget was meeting a visitor from Sweden who enjoyed his very first Georgia peach right in front of us. It was a simple but powerful reminder of the impact local food can have – creating connections, sparking memories, and sharing a taste of Georgia with the world.

Throughout the event, guests experienced the many ways Atlanta is forging a path toward more sustainable food systems. Pearson Farm brought the beauty of Georgia peach trees downtown with its peach tree micro-groves, The Garden Queen led educational experiences focused on environmental stewardship and Food Well Alliance shared urban gardening resources and hosted seed planting activities.

One of our favorite moments was the Peach Wishes station, where guests shared their hopes for the future of nature, agriculture, and sustainability in Atlanta on peach-shaped cards for a chance to win local experiences.

This was a summer to remember for so many reasons, and PeachTrees on Peachtree was a big part of it. Retaaza is proud to have been part of an event celebrating the growers, partners, and neighbors who make Georgia’s food system thrive.
