Retaaza Expands Farm Fresh Markets with Invest Atlanta & Wholesome Wave Georgia

Retaaza is proud to announce the expansion of our Farm Fresh Markets to two new Atlanta locations, thanks to a powerful partnership with Invest Atlanta and Wholesome Wave Georgia. These markets support a larger initiative to increase food access and affordability for all Atlantans.

With the generous support of an Atlanta Food Access Catalyst Grant from Invest Atlanta, we’re launching the City of Refuge Farm Fresh Market on Joseph E. Boone Boulevard and the Thomasville Heights Farm Fresh Market on Henry Thomas Drive. The markets are strategically placed to serve neighbors living in communities where a significant portion of the population has limited access to affordable and nutritious food, also known as low income, low access (LILA) areas.

Retaaza will operate each market twice a week, providing consistent access to seasonal, locally grown, fruits and vegetables from Georgia farms. To make shopping more affordable, SNAP/EBT shoppers will receive a 50% discount on purchases of fresh produce as a Fresh For Less partner of Wholesome Wave Georgia.
